Transform Campus Culture:
Reach College Students with the Gospel

With secular worldviews dominating campuses, we must prepare students to defend their faith.

Campus ministry presents unique challenges and opportunities for engaging young adults in a culture that often questions biblical values. Whether you are ministering to skeptical students, discipling believers, or equipping future leaders, you need a strong theological foundation, apologetics training, and effective discipleship skills. The need is urgent—according to a recent report, 35% of college students say they have never attended religious services.

Engaging a Culture That Challenges Biblical Truth

University campuses are hubs of diverse worldviews, where students often encounter skepticism, relativism, and secular ideologies that challenge biblical faith. As a campus minister, you will need to navigate these conversations with sound theological reasoning and apologetics-based engagement. SES prepares you for this mission by equipping you to:

  • Defend the Christian worldview against common objections and misconceptions.
  • Engage skeptics and seekers in meaningful dialogue that leads to Gospel conversations.
  • Provide biblical answers to the ethical and philosophical challenges facing today’s students.
  • Develop strong discipleship programs that nurture students in their faith.
  • Equip young believers to share and defend their faith confidently.
  • Create Christ-centered communities where students can grow spiritually and serve others.

What will the SES degree in apologetics do for your campus ministry?

"I am using the information I learned at SES on a daily basis as I defend the Christian worldview on the college campus. I simply could not be doing what I am doing, the way that I am doing it, without the training I received at SES. At SES I learned how to think through issues in a way that is simply foreign to most Christians, including graduates of other seminaries. I recommend SES to everyone that I can – especially my students!"

Overcoming the Challenges
of Campus Ministry

Many individuals entering campus ministry encounter key challenges:

  • Engaging a Skeptical Audience – College students often wrestle with doubts and intellectual challenges to their faith.
  • Apologetics & Evangelism – Effective campus ministry requires a solid understanding of defending biblical truth.
  • Discipleship & Mentorship – Developing lasting relationships and guiding students in their spiritual growth.
  • Balancing Ministry & Academic Life – Many campus ministers must juggle their education while ministering to students.

SES addresses these concerns with rigorous theological education, flexible online programs, Smart Tuition payment plans, scholarship opportunities, and a strong commitment to biblical truth in every degree and certificate offering.

Strengthen Your Calling with SES’s
Unique Approach to Theological Education

You may already have a foundation in Christian apologetics and have explored books like Tactics by Gregory Koukl, Lewis' Mere Christianity, or I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist by SES alum Frank Turek and SES co-founder Norman Geisler. These resources provide valuable insights, but as you continue to deepen your understanding, you may find yourself seeking a more structured, comprehensive approach to apologetics and theology.

At SES, we believe apologetics and theology reach their full potential when grounded in sound philosophy. Developing this foundation strengthens your ability to defend the faith and enriches your spiritual growth and ministry. SES is here to equip you with the training and support you need to sharpen your reasoning skills, confidently engage with tough questions, or deepen your biblical worldview.
