‘The Defense Never Rests’ Southern Evangelical Seminary National Conference on Christian Apologetics Kicks Off Today in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Today and throughout the weekend, the faithful will have a chance to discuss some of the most pressing issues that have made headlines for months. Along with hundreds of other believers, they will gather in Charlotte, N.C., for the 23rd annual National Conference on Christian Apologetics fromSouthern Evangelical Seminary (SES, www.staging.ses.edu.)

WHERE:  Calvary Church, 5801 Pineville-Matthews Road, Charlotte

WHEN:    Oct. 13-15, 2016

  • The women’s pre-conference begins at 11 a.m. Oct. 13 and continues through 9 p.m. with a Q&A session recapping the day.
  • Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. Oct. 14, with the first session beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending with the 8:45-9:45 p.m. session with Josh McDowell.
  • Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. Oct. 15, with sessions through 5 p.m.

An impressive lineup of nationally known speakers will tackle the many tough topics that have been debated both in society and on the campaign trail. The seminary will welcome such top names as Norman Geisler, Richard Howe, SES President Dr. Richard Land, Josh McDowell, Sean McDowell, Hugh Ross, Jay Sekulow, Lee Strobel, Frank Turek and J. Warner Wallace, along with many others.

SES is a leader in apologetics education—teaching students to defend their faith and talk intelligently, passionately and rationally about what they believe and why they believe it.
