Southern Evangelical Seminary Announces 2022 Apologetics Conference Theme: “Remaining Steadfast in an Upside-Down World”

28th National Conference on Christian Apologetics Will be Held April 8-9, 2022 at First Baptist Church Rock Hill in Rock Hill, SC—Speakers Include Edward Graham, Richard Howe, Hugh Ross, Frank Turek, J. Warner Wallace, and More

A. W. Tozer explained the current apologetics problem this way: “A whole new generation has come up believing that it is possible to accept Christ without forsaking the world.” In a culture that worships the world and all that is in it, Southern Evangelical Seminary (SES, www.staging.ses.edu) urges Christ-followers to not succumb to the world and instead put God first—not the other way around.

2 Thessalonians 3:5 says, “May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.” ‘Remaining Steadfast in an Upside-Down World’ is the 2022 theme of SES’s 28th National Conference on Christian Apologetics (NCCA), set for April 8-9 at First Baptist Church Rock Hill in Rock Hill, S.C.

Judge Phil Ginn, president of Southern Evangelical Seminary, who will also serve as a conference speaker, states,

“The simple truth is that you cannot be a true Christ-follower if you are distracted by anything that the world offers. We must have a focused life dedicated to the one and only Lord Jesus Christ. Christianity is an all or nothing proposition.

“Everything from politics, morality, the Church, family, schools, the media and even our work ethics are disintegrating,” said Ginn. “We can try to turn over this upside-down world, but the truth is, only Christ can do that. It is time that real Christians take a stand to shun the temptations of our culture. Chaos and despair have turned the world on its end, but if we remain steadfast to the One who calls us to Himself for all of eternity, perhaps the world will notice the difference and at least some will want to know the love, peace and joy of Jesus Christ.”

Attended by thousands from around the country, SES’s annual conference provides Christians with the tools, knowledge and motivation to defend their beliefs in a culture that is sometimes hostile toward Christianity.

Ginn states, “We look forward to welcoming the nation’s best thinkers, scholars, authors, apologists and scientific minds who will address the thousands in attendance here at the 2022 NCCA.”

The NCCA welcomes some of the nation’s top apologetics speakers, including Edward Graham, Richard Howe, Hugh Ross, Frank Turek, J. Warner Wallace, as well as a debate between Brian Huffling (SES) and James Sterba (Notre Dame) titled “Is a Good God Logically Possible?”

Speakers and attendees are exhilarated about the NCCA and the lives that are changed every year.

“I can’t recommend SES any more highly,” Frank Turek, an alumnus and adjunct professor, has said of SES. “There’s no better place to come to get to know God and make Him known.”

Said one user on Facebook, “This is a fantastic school that will aid you in digging deep into your faith, encourages you to ask questions and welcomes dialogue. I am proud to be learning from SES and attend their wonderful apologetics conference every year.”

And added another attendee, “An accessible crash course that will sharpen the mind of the established Christian apologist or open the floodgates for the curious newbie.”

Speaker and ticket details will be coming soon.
