Lance Richey is a resident of Matthews, NC, and has been a member of the SES Board since 2023.
Lance served in the Air Force for eight years and in the Air National Guard for four. He enlisted in the Air Force after high school and was born and raised in Texas.
After his military service Lance entered into a career in IT. He has worked in IT for over 34 years in both development and management roles focusing primarily in data analytics. The majority of his career has been in healthcare IT.
Lance has an AAS from the Community College of the Air Force, BS in Education from Southern Illinois University, MS in Administration from Central Michigan University and an MA in Religion from SES. (His most favorite degree)
Lance has been a member of Carmel Baptist Church in Matthews for 24 years, where he has served in various roles including Deacon and currently serves as an Elder.
Lance has been married 41 years to his lovely wife Linda, and they have two children and one grandchild.
