Jeff is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager with TPGH Wealth Management Group at
Morgan Stanley in Charlotte. He joined the industry in 1980, and his practice is focused on providing comprehensive financial planning, retirement and estate planning, and portfolio management services to professional athletes, high net worth individuals, professionals and business owners.
He received a BA in chemistry from the University of North Carolina and an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. He has been designated a Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM®) through the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University. He has also served as a Certified Financial Planning Practitioner (CFP®) since 1985.
He serves on the boards of Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, and Monarch NC.
Apologetics was instrumental in strengthening Jeff’s faith when he was challenged while in graduate school in 1978. Many years later he was introduced to Southern Evangelical Seminary through Norm Geisler and Frank Turek’s book, “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist”. He is passionate about defending Truth and the Christian Faith. Since the early 1980s, he has enjoyed the privilege of leading Bible studies while living in North Carolina, Alabama and New Jersey.
Jeff and Marie have been married since 1980, have 3 grown children (Brian, Melanie and Allison), two wonderful Christian sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.
