Chances Like This Don’t Come Around Very Often

This is perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study such an important issue under someone like SES co-founder Dr. Norman Geisler. He and Dr. Brian Huffling, Director of the SES Ph.D. Program, will dive deeply into the so-called problem of evil, one of the most oft discussed apologetics topics ever. It is certainly a difficult issue with which believers must wrestle and be prepared to thoughtfully address. As SES Academic Dean, Dr. J.T. Bridges, says, “Because our minds have been diminished, the emotions have taken over and the problem of suffering has gone unchecked which is why atheists typically use it against Christians in apologetic situations.”

Whether you are a pastor, youth leader, preparing for a ministry of any type, or simply want to equip yourself to be a more effective ambassador of Christ, The Problem of Evil will be one of the best steps you can take in your preparation. Dr. Geisler will not be teaching forever, so do not miss your opportunity to study under one of the most prolific evangelical apologists of modern times.

A Unique Approach

Given SES’s stance on the classical view of God and His attributes, we approach issues such as the problem of evil quite differently in many ways. We believe this approach provides a much deeper and systematic understanding of the relevant issues, and thus, a stronger and more robust apologetic.

On Campus or Livestream

As a week-long module course, this class will meet March 11-16, 2019 (6:00-10:00pm Monday-Friday / 8:00am-4:00pm on Saturday). Course work will be completed in the weeks following the lectures.

We highly encourage all who are able to attend this course on campus and experience the personal in-class and outside-of-class interactions with both students and professors. For those who cannot attend on campus, we offer a live-streaming option which allows you to still interact in real-time during class.
