Full Time Pastor – Mt. Vernon Church

We have a full time pastor position open. Our church recently disaffiliated from the UMC and we are now operating as independent. We have reestablished ourselves, reorganized and restructured all while never closing our doors. Our mission is to make Christ known through words and example. We have active children, youth, young adults, and older adults. We are able to pay a fulltime salary that is negotiable on experience. Duties would include Sunday services, special services, Bible study programs, visiting the sick and shut-ins, being involved with the children and youth programs and older adults. We seek a pastor who will walk with us and help lead us all to a closer relationship to Christ.
