Pleasant Dale Baptist Church, of Lancaster, South Carolina, is seeking a full-time Minister of
Children. This position’s primary role will be to develop a plan for the discipleship of these
children and carry out the plan with excellence. He will also coordinate special events, trips,
counseling, and visitation with the children in this ministry area.
We are looking for a pastor who is passionately seeking the Lord Jesus Christ on a daily basis:
someone who can lead and love our children and families out of the overflow of his own walk
with God and knowledge of the Scriptures. We would love to partner with someone who is
dedicated to raising a generation of young people to seek after the Lord, someone who desires a
career in Children’s Ministry unless the Lord calls him to other work.
PDBC is a very stable Southern Baptist congregation with over 75 years of history. We desire to
reach our community with the gospel through lifestyle and two annual outreaches that affect
more than 3500 individuals. Dr. Jessie Adams has led our congregation as senior pastor for 10
years and was our former youth pastor. Our children’s ministry is currently averaging 50 plus
students per week and is led by a team of dedicated volunteers.
