Job Description:

  • The Minister to Families is a part-time position.
  • An average of 15-20 hours a week is the expected time commitment.  Some weeks will require additional hours, while other weeks may require less hours.
  • The Minister to Families directs the Student and Children’s ministries.
  • The Minister to Families is supervised by the pastor.
  • The Minister to Families works with the Personnel Committee in regard to his job responsibilities, annual job review, hiring, and termination.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Minister to Families leads the student ministry.
  • He equips and supervises the volunteers who lead the children’s ministry:  Kerr Kidz, and children’s worship. In cooperation with volunteers, he chooses curriculum for these ministries.
  • He leads the students, grades 6-12, during their Sunday and Wednesday evening events.
  • He manages the student and children’s ministry budgets, and obtains approval for all fundraising endeavors from the Deacon Council.
  • He plans and attends student camps, events, and trips.
  • He works with children’s ministry volunteers to plan special events and trips.  He attends these events when he is available.
  • Other ministry responsibilities may be assigned by the pastor as needed.
  • The Minister to Families leads and works with the Student Ministry Council.  Their mission is to provide input and support for the student ministry activities.
  • The Minister to Families is a member of the Church Council and is invited to attend Deacon Council meetings.

Job Benefits:

  • The salary range is $15,000 – $17,000 annually.
  • There is one week of paid vacation the first year of employment, and two weeks of paid vacation thereafter. Vacations must be approved by the pastor.
  • There is one week of paid sick leave the first year of employment, and two weeks of paid sick leave thereafter.
  • Additional emergency sick leave may be granted if approved by the pastor and the Personnel Committee.

Job Description

Connect Christian Church is located just outside of Cincinnati, OH. The church is lead by Lead Pastor Mike Edmisten and members of the congregation that make up the Elder Board. Connect has only been portable for around seven years after selling their building to move towards more of a contemporary atmosphere. Attendance right now typically runs around 250 each week. Currently the church offers two Sunday services, 9:30am and 11:00am, both of which are identical.

New Life Bible Fellowship Church is actively looking for a Senior Pastor who will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the mission of New Life Bible Fellowship Church (NLBFC), which is to Glorify God, Introduce People to New Life in Christ, and Grow Together toward Maturity in Him. In this capacity, he must be a humble leader that creates a collaborative team environment among the church’s ministry leaders and staff. The Chinese Christian Church of Baton Rouge (CCCBR), is in need of a full-time minister to shepherd our English-speaking congregation.  Our congregation is primarily made up of ethnic Chinese from mainland China, Taiwan, South-east Asia, Hong Kong and North America.  The church holds two worship services with two different languages on Sunday morning: a Chinese-Mandarin service with approximately 90 attendees followed by an English service of about 40 people of which 20 are youth.  There are also multiple Sunday school classes, fellowships and Bible study gatherings within the church.

Lima Baptist Temple is an independent baptist church located in the town of Lima, OH. The church is led by Senior Pastor Al Elmore who came on as the Lead Pastor around 5 years ago. Summit Classical School is a new charter school opening in the fall of 2019. Summit is located in Clinton SC which is 40 minutes south of Greenville SC.
