Operation Christmas Child is seeking talented, energetic followers of Christ for available Associate Administrative Assistant positions.  This role provides an exciting opportunity for capable, self-starters to provide administrate support within one of the Operation Christmas Child regional offices nationwide.

The Associate Administrative Assistant (AAA) is responsible for providing administrative support during Operation Christmas Child's promotional season.  The Associate Administrative Assistant will support the Regional Office by performing a variety of administrative duties.

Responsibilities include:

Samaritan's Purse Processing Center Management Team

The Samaritan’s Purse Processing Center Management Team provides Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Processing Centers with additional management staff, enhancing the Processing Center management teams and serving as an OCC mission opportunity within the US. This is a seasonal, full-time opportunity - Processing Center Management  (PCMs) Associates must fulfill a 4-6 week time commitment during November - December. Qualified and trained PCMs will assist with set up, training, processing, and tear down in the Processing Centers. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have previous management experience, and possess a desire to serve the Lord in a hands-on ministry. While we have a very high rate of previous Associates returning, we do have available opportunities for our upcoming 2015 season.

Manage multiple areas of processing of shoe box gifts, specifically related to shoe box flow through the processing teams where shoe box gifts are inspected and sorted by volunteers. Requires experience in working closely with associate staff and volunteers, maintaining inventory, and strong organizational skills. Position may require some lifting and the use of a pallet jack.

Corporate Relations & Logistics Associate/Operation Christmas Child

Samaritan's Purse Is seeking a capable individual with strong computer, organizational, and interpersonal skills to provide logistical and donor support as a seasonal Logistics and Corporate Relations Associate with Operation Christmas Child (OCC).

Relevant experience includes database management and customer service experience related to volunteers and gift-in-kind donors. This position manages information shared via web sites and coordinates with collection network volunteers throughout the US to collect over 8 million shoebox gifts.  It also provides support for the OCC Domestic Logistics and Corporate Relations team by processing documentation related to gifts-in-kind donations and shoebox transportation companies.

Purpose:  To assist the families of Steele Creek Presbyterian Church in growing and developing

Measures of Success:

Pay: Commenserate with experience

Vacation: 2 weeks

Paid Holidays and Sick Day Allowance

This is a part-time postion (approximately 20 hours per week) with a flexible schedule to

allow for the adjustment to a candidate’s individual responsibilites and commitments. 

Sunday mornings and afternoons would be expected to be a normal part of the work week. 

Once a schedule is established with which the church and employee are agreeable, the

employee would be expected to maintain that schedule unless an agreed to adjustment was

worked out with the Pastor in advance.  This is an Interim positon as the church is assesing

its overall mission and structure with the expectation of establishing a more defined,

permanent postion and then will seek to fill that postion.  The time frame for this Interim

work is uncertin, but would most likely be six months or more.  The church is willing to

negotiate this time frame based on the needs/schedule of a candidate.  The employee filling

this position would be eligible to apply for the permanent position if interested in doing so.

Hilltop Community Church is a non-denominational church that was founded in

1966 on a plot of land donated by Lake Havasu City. At that time a building was

built by the United Brethren in Christ. A few years later they merged with an

independent group that was designed to reach non-churched people. At that

time they dropped their affiliation with the UBC and became a non-

denominational church. Later the Hilltop Learning Center (ages 2 1/2 to pre-
