Billy Graham Evangelistic Association - Bilingual Chat Ministry Coordinator
Serves the online chat ministries of Search for Jesus and En Busca de Jesús by providing support to chat coaches through ongoing training, and volunteer and chat ministry development.

I. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
- Faithfully upholds BGEA, SFJ, and volunteers in prayer.
- Consistently participates in daily BGEA staff devotions.
- Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations.
- Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence.
- Maintains an in-depth understanding of Internet Evangelism’s chat ministry tools, High Impact volunteer management principles and practices, as well as knowledge of conversational evangelism and discipleship   methods applicable to an online correspondence ministry.
- Trains chat coaches, training and managing Ministry Resource Team trainers as needed.
- Under the direction of the Chat Ministry Supervisor, provides care and support to active chat coaches through online resources (The Hub, Facebook groups, etc.), coordination and execution of live webinars, personal phone and email communication as needed, and the development of volunteer leaders.
- Reviews communication between chat coaches and inquirers to ensure compliance with practices and procedures; training and managing Ministry Resource Team reviewers as needed.
- Interacts with Area Coordinators to ensure volunteer feedback is clear and service milestones are acknowledged.
- Prepares and submits reports as directed by the Chat Ministry Supervisor.
- Assist with the creation and translation of Spanish/English resources, procedures and materials as needed.

Marginal Duties and Responsibilities

- Assists with creation and updating of video/audio training material.
- Suggests ideas to improve volunteer and ministry development, providing evaluation of chat ministry and systems.
- Fulfills additional duties assigned by Chat Ministry Supervisor.

The River Community Church is looking for an energetic and talented individual to be the first
impression of the River in the office as well as on Sunday mornings. We are located in the Big
Ten city of Iowa City. Though our pastor graduated from the UWMadison, we still enjoy
cheering on our Hawkeyes and enjoying our fair share of tailgating. In a nutshell, we are a
Converge church with strong ties to the community and a heart for our city.


The position is a 30 hour week with approximately 70% being dedicated to office management
and the remaining 30% left for leading worship and practices. We are ideally seeking one
candidate for both positions or two candidates to divide the jobs. Either position has the potential
to become fulltime.


The hours for the position are broken down below.
Office Administration: 9am-4pm, Tues. & Thurs. in the office

Music Leader: Sunday mornings at 10:30am and additional practice times as needed.

The Office Administrator will serve as an assistant to the pastor and provide administrative
support to church committee leaders, volunteers, as well as those who utilize the building.
Responsibilities:
● Manage content and production of church communications including the monthly
   newsletter, weekly emails, weekly bulletins, visitor packets, etc
● Answers phone, direct calls as needed, greet visitors to church office
● Order office supplies, ministry supplies, curriculum, etc
● Support financial secretary and assist financial statements
● Schedule and work with outside groups who rent the facilities


Job Skills & Requirements
● Proficient in Microsoft, google docs, website interaction, basic internet use (experience
   with Quickbooks would be a plus!)

SALARY RANGE Depends upon qualifications and experience:

Associate Pastor of Youth and Children – Sardis Baptist Church
Status: Interim, Full-time, Non-exempt

Purpose: To supervise and direct the ministries of the Sardis Baptist Church youth and children. To assist leaders in the children’s department in planning, coordinating and implementing programs for children. To ensure that all programs for youth and children are designed to glorify God through loving Jesus, serving others, and reaching the world.


Qualifications:
1. Have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and have taken the step of believer’s baptism.
2. Maintain a strong personal walk with Christ through the daily practice of Bible study, prayer and other spiritual disciplines.

4. At a minimum, the applicant should have a bachelor’s degree. However, a seminary graduate with a Masters of Divinity, Theology, Youth Ministry or other Christian faith related education would be preferred.

6. Willingness to demonstrate a high tolerance and appreciation of others
7. Exhibit good organization, communication, and listening skills
8. Have previous experience working with youth and/or children

13. Involve youth and children in community missions

Job Description:

Overview: Christ’s Church of Amherst, NH is an independent, nondenominational church that is committed to being a spiritual and geographic presence in southern NH since its founding 30 years ago. Key Working Relationships:

PART-TIME WORSHIP LEADER, Iowa City, IA

My name is Joshua Tilley and I am the Senior Pastor at The River Community Church in Iowa City, IA (3 miles from the U of I campus) and I am looking for a part-time worship leader.

We are a growing church with an average attendance of 100-130, but the one thing we are really missing is a worship leader.

I am offering room, board, something to put on a resume, as well as part-time pay for anyone willing to move and lead our worship team. Ideally, I would be looking for someone who would be interested in becoming full-time (and possibly a pastor) after graduation, but I am open to a conversation with anyone who has worship experience and a heart for a city with a Big Ten school.

As for me, I just moved to Iowa City with my family two years ago from Metro-Detroit. I have my BA in Philosophy (UW-Madison), my MA in Philosophy of Religion (TEDS), and am currently learning alongside of you at SES while I finish my PhD in Philosophy of Religion as well.

High School Physics Teacher – Charlotte Christian School
Reports to: Upper School Principal

General Qualifications

1. Evidence a mature personal Christian faith consistent with the Charlotte Christian Statement of Faith.
2. Evidence understanding of and a commitment to the distinctive qualities of Christian education as well as the mission of Charlotte Christian School.
3. Possess a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in area of instruction, or a related area (master’s degree preferred).
4. Licensure by a regional accrediting agency preferred.
5. Minimum of 3 years teaching Physics preferred.
6. Evidence strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and  technological skills.

Primary Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will:

1. Teach upper school Physics Honors and Conceptual Physics
2. Demonstrate knowledge of subject area/s taught.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of development characteristics of age group taught.
4. Effectively utilize the basic elements of instruction (i.e. presenting of information;
    techniques; responding to learner input and arrangement of learning activities).
5. Demonstrate ability to inspire learning and cultivate relationships with students.
6. Prepare appropriate weekly lesson plans including instructional objectives, planned activities, Biblical integration, assessments and  resources.
7. Incorporate classroom technology in order to enhance instruction.
8. Implement effective classroom management and discipline procedures to provide for a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
9. Regularly review/update department and course curriculum guide/maps to assure the fulfillment of proper instructional priorities and pacing.
10. Model effective teacher/parental partnering through timely communication with parents in support
