ResourcesBiblical Worldview Center
Center for the Promotion of Biblical Worldview Minimize

VISION

To see established an academically proven Biblical Worldview curricula provided by existing Biblical Worldview ministries promoted, accepted, and taught in local churches to better enable followers of Christ to integrate their faith into all areas of thinking, learning and doing.

PURPOSE

The Center will present to churches proven Biblical Worldview curricula that will contrast competing worldviews. These will encourage students of all ages to learn to think critically about the ultimate issues of human existence, to live more purposeful, transformed Christian lives, and to participate more fully in the cultural issues of our day that have a stranglehold on Christianity and the nation.

MISSION

The mission of the Center is:

  • To place BWV curriculum in 5,000 churches by 2013.
  • To help the churches integrate innovative Biblical Worldview and apologetic methods, tools, and curricula into their discipleship programs. Emphasis will be to show them its life transforming qualities, academically, spiritually, and culturally.
  • To define the concept, benefits, organization, feasibility, location, and costs of establishing a National Center for BWV and Apologetics.
  • To develop and maintain a data base of BWV literature, curricula, teaching ministries, teaching seminaries, and teaching churches for the use by Christian educators including information to be made available to home schooling families.
  • To develop annually a response to the major criticisms of a BWV by non-Christian worldview critics. Make it available to all interested parties requesting it.
  • To make available for sale or complimentary downloads to the general public all of the above data and material.

One of the major reasons the Center has been established is to help churches and individuals understand the priceless value of a Biblical Worldview. We have attempted to show this value in our answers to the following questions (click for our response):

You will find most prices very affordable.  The catalogue also suggests a methodology for a church to develop its own BWV curriculum should that be preferred to purchasing the existing curriculum listed. (Appendix 3)

The Catalogue also contains a definition of worldviews, their structure, components, authors, how they are developed and a strong list of recommended reading on the subject.

The best way to get a quick overview of what we are trying to accomplish with this catalogue would be to first read the introduction and conclusion and review Table 1 (pgs. 8-9) and Table 2 (pg. 10).
