Director of Development

Requirements: We currently have an incredible opportunity for an experienced development and fundraising professional with a proven record of success. SES is seeking a Director of Development to plan and direct all fundraising, communications and public relations efforts. Responsibilities include annual giving, planned giving, major gifts, foundation support, capital campaigns, endowment initiatives, special events, and public relations. Reports to the President of the Seminary, and serves on the senior management team.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree (Masters preferred). Minimum of 5 years development experience in Christian ministry. A servant leader with consistent Christian character. Excellent social, business and communication skills. Planned giving and major gifts experience is required. Must have strong management skills. Requires demonstrated ability to relate well with Board, major donors, and senior-level staff. Experience with Raiser’s Edge Fundraising software and Quicken is strongly preferred.
